Wellsville school student tests positive for COVID-19

Wellsville schools remain open even after a student in the Secondary School tested positive for COVID-19. School superintendent David Foster told The Spectator that the student had limited exposure to others, so closure was not warranted. Foster told the newspaper "we no longer have a clean slate." The Spectator reports that Wellsville will continue with its present hybrid attendance model. Elementary school students are attending classes in-person, while the secondary school operates with a mix of at-home learning and in-person attendance.
