Potter County Records First COVID-19 Coronavirus Fatality

Potter County has its first COVID-19 coronavirus fatality, according to the Pa. Dept. of Health. No further details were made public. The report came in the department’s daily summary, which showed another 22 positive tests in the region between Tuesday and Wednesday. As of Wednesday, there have been 175,922 cases in Pennsylvania, an increase of 1,276 over the past 24 hours, with 8,411 deaths. The State Health Department reports this breakdown of the patients statewide who have tested positive to date: 2 percent are ages 5-12; 4 percent are ages 13-18;13 percent are ages 19-24; 36 percent are ages 25-49; 22 percent are ages 50-64, and 22 percent are ages 65 or older.
