Allegany Artisans Tour Cancellation notice

It is with deep regret that the board of directors of the Allegany Artisans is announcing the cancellation of our 2020 Studio Tour, usually held each year the weekend following Columbus Day, due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

Like so many other local events that have suffered the same fate, the Allegany Artisans Studio Tour plans to be back bigger and better in 2021

Meanwhile, our Artisans have been using this period of "social distancing" to be ever more creative.

For those of you who wish to connect with your favorite artist or explore the works of our new members, you may go to our updated website (alleganyartisans.com) for resources and contact information for our members. Or you can visit our Facebook page, (facebook.com/alleganyartisans). We hope to continue to update these sites often, so please keep checking back. We look forward to sharing our new collections and reconnecting with you.

As many of you know, the Allegany Artisans Studio tour is funded exclusively by the fees paid by our members for each of the years they participate, or ads in our tour booklet. As we have cancelled the tour, we have collected no fees. However, we still have overhead, mainly the cost of the social media platforms which keep us connected with you throughout the year. If any of our friends, private or corporate, would like to help us defray this cost by making a donation, your patronage would be greatly appreciated. We wish to thank you for your understanding in this hectic time, and for your patronage throughout the years. Your devotion to the arts, and your friendship have been our driving force. We wish everyone the best of health and hope you will reach out to our Artisans (virtually) between now and Christmas.. We are already gearing up for next year, so keep in touch!
