BATH – The Steuben County Public Health Department received notification of the death of an individual who had previously tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Steuben County to 52. The individual was an 82 year old male resident of Corning Center who died while hospitalized.
“We haven’t seen this number of deaths this close together since April. It is absolutely heartbreaking,” said Public Health Director, Darlene Smith. “Take all precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect your loved ones.”
