A police officer who works part-time in Addison and Painted Post is feeling the heat after a comment posted on social media. According to the Star Gazette, Jamie M. Stewart, who works part-time for the Village of Addison and Village of Painted Post police departments, posted a comment in response to a post showing what appeared to be a white woman and man outside a business being assaulted by a group of black people. “Shoot one,” Stewart said in his comment. “Just one they will scatter like roaches.”
