Bishop Richard J. Malone resigns

"The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Buffalo, Bishop Richard J. Malone, and has appointed Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger of Albany as apostolic administrator of the same diocese."
