...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
7 AM EST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9
inches. The snow may mix with sleet and freezing rain this afternoon and evening with less than a tenth of an inch of ice
accumulation.
* WHERE...Wyoming, Livingston, Cattaraugus, and Allegany counties.
* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Friday. Heaviest snow expected from mid evening through the pre-dawn hours.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult with snow covered and slippery roads. The weight of the heavy, wet snow may bring down a few tree limbs and result in isolated power outages.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
