Wellsville Police arrested Jose J. Maisonet Jr, age 39 of
Olean, NY, charging him with Criminal Sale of a Controled Substance 4th (Class
C Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th (Class D
Felony). The charges stem from an
investigation into the illegal sale of narcotic drugs in the Village of
Wellsville in July of 2016. Maisonet was
released from the Allegany County Jail, on unrelated charges, and taken into
custody by Wellsville Police. Maisonet
was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice O’Connor. Maisonet was committed back to the Allegany
County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail or $20,000.00 property bond. Maisonet is due back in Wellsville Village
Court on November 20th at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police were assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task
Force and by New York State Police C-NET (Community Narcotic Enforcement Team)
during the investigation.
