Developing - No injuries in Alfred car-jacking, major manhunt underway UPDATED

BREAKING: 9:52 a.m.-suspect taken into custody in Potter County, PA.

There were no injuries in an apparent car-jacking which occurred early today in Alfred. A man, described as "middle-age" commandeered the vehicle at knifepoint. The victims of the car were released on Main Street in Andover. From there, a massive search was initiated. A cell phone in the vehicle was tracked, which led police to the Jasper and Greenwood areas. At some point, police believe the cell phone was shut off. Shortly after 9 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police located the vehicle near the Bingham Center Road in Potter County. At 9:30 a.m. police determined the car had been abandoned. Troopers from New York and Pennsylvania are involved in the search, as is the Steuben County Sheriff's Office and numerous municipal police agencies. The Northern Potter School has been placed on lockdown, according to radio reports. Jasper-Troupsburg was also in lockdown. This is a developing story...
UPDATE At 9:52 a.m. the Steuben County Sheriff's Office reported one suspect is in custody.
UPDATE: In custody is Steven R. Cox, 36, of Cuba.
