Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on November 13, 2018, with the assistance of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested Michael T. Roberts, age 26 of Salamanca, on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued by the Town of Cuba Court.   Roberts was processed and arraigned in the Town of Cuba Court where he was remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $1,000.00 cash or $2,000.00 bond. Roberts is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Cuba Court on December 11, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. for additional court action.

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on November 8, 2018,  following an investigation at the Allegany County Jail, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Justin M. Chapman, age 29 of Clarksville, charging him with (2) Counts of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree.  Chapman was processed and arraigned in the Town of Friendship Court where he was released to the custody of the Allegany County Probation Department.
