Two Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputy Sheriffs received awards from MADD New York

On April 30, 2025, two Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Sheriffs received awards from Mothers Against Drunk Driving New York [MADD New York] for excellence in DWI Enforcement. The awards were based on performance in the 2024 calendar year. The awards were presented at the 2025 Annual New York State Law Enforcement Recognition Event in Albany, NY. Deputy Kyle Murray, a first time recipient of a MADD New York Award, has been with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office since 2021. Deputy Murray led the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office in Driving While Intoxicated/Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs arrests in 2024. Deputy Murray was awarded with a 2024 Recognition of Excellence Award. Deputy Vaughn Collingridge, who was a second time recipient of a MADD New York Award, has also been with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office since 2021. Deputy Collingridge has been certified as a Drug Recognition Expert [DRE] since 2023, and in 2024 Deputy Collingridge performed the most drug influence evaluations by any DRE in the agency. Deputy Collingridge was awarded with a 2024 Recognition of Excellence DRE Enforcement Award.
