Details of Incident: On Monday, at approximately 1:13 a.m., Adam J. Sullivan, 35, of Olean NY was taken into custody. At approximately 0134 hours, Aaron M. Menter, 36, of Olean NY and Tisha K. Hein, 19, of Olean NY were taken into custody. All parties were subject to a traffic stop on N. 13th St. in the City of Olean for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. Following an investigation Sullivan gave consent to a search of his person where 2.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located in his shorts pocket. A vehicle search was conducted shortly thereafter yielding 30.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a quantity of suspected fentanyl, miscellaneous packaging material, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, and a switchblade knife. All parties were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. All parties were processed and transported to the City of Olean Court for an arraignment on the following charges: Sullivan: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree – Stimulant, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree – Intent to Sell, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree, and No Seatbelt.
Menter: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree – Stimulant, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree – Intent to Sell, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Fail to Keep Right, Fail to Stop from Alley/Driveway/Private Road as required, and No Seatbelt.
Hein: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree – Stimulant, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree – Intent to Sell, and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree.
All parties were released on their own recognizance and are due in the City of Olean Court at a later date for further proceedings.
