COUDERSPORT, PA---Marlene
Spicher “Spike” Thomas, 84, of Coudersport, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025,
with her loving family by her side. Born in Williamsport, PA, to Herman
W. Spicher and Florence H. Miller, Marlene lived a life grounded in faith,
creativity, generosity, and dedication to her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, James (Linda) Thomas, Jr.;
daughters, Traci-Beth (Marc) Budd and Candice (Giusy) Thomas; and four
cherished grandchildren: Madison, Brielle, Isabella, and Matteo. She was
preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Dory. Marlene's legacy
lives on in the lives she has touched through her creativity, intelligence,
resilience, and quiet strength.
A celebration of Marlene’s life will be held in her honor at
a later date.
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be
made to the Coudersport Volunteer Ambulance Association, PO Box 651,
Coudersport, PA 16915; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude
Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or God’s Country Ministries, 1237 East Second Street,
Coudersport, PA 16915, in support of the Heavenly Brightness Schools in Haiti,
organizations close to Marlene’s heart.
Marlene’s warmth, humor, talents, and sticky buns will be
deeply missed and forever remembered.
Marlene entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to
