Democrats Donate to Bolivar Food
Pantry
Belmont, NY – The Allegany County Democrats collected bags
and bags of non-perishable food, personal care items, and pet supplies when
they met recently in Little Genesee. The goods were donated to the Bolivar Food
Pantry. This service project is one of the ways the Democratic Committee lives
its motto: “Serving our Community”.
The Bolivar Food Pantry is located at 8265 St. Rt 417 in Little
Genesee, NY, and is open Mondays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Those needing assistance can call (585) 307-8743 for more information.
According to volunteer and treasurer Paula Ostermeier,
“Approximately 90 families are served each month. Our volunteers are here to
feed as many households as we can, and no one in need is ever turned
away.” The pantry would welcome
donations of non-perishable canned goods, vegetables, milk and soups.
Ostermeier continued, “We thank the Democratic Committee for their
donation to our food pantry. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated.”
Please join the county Democrats on Saturday, June 14th
in Wellsville for an afternoon of camaraderie and to support a local food
pantry.
The Allegany County Democratic
