Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on October 7, 2020, deputies arrested James M. Sick, age 28, of West Morris Street, Bath, New York following an investigation of a burglary in progress at a residence on Stever Road, Avoca, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Sick entered and remained unlawfully in the dwelling with the intent to steal property. Mr. Sick was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, a Class C Felony, and Petit Larceny. Mr. Sick was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
