When the Allegany County Legislature gavels into session at 2 p.m. October 13th, lawmakers will vote on a local law that requires each commercial waste collector proposing to collect solid waste and recyclable material generated in Allegany County, to submit a plan, which shall include, the description of the type of waste to be collected and frequency of collection and provision for collecting and marketing recyclable material. The Legislature will also -
- Set a date for the public hearing on the 2021 budget for November 5th.
- Setting October 26th for a public hearing to discuss certain county officers compensation.
