The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Steuben County has
now risen to four. According to Steuben County Public Health, there around three dozen
people in quarantine and being monitored. The latest individual is from the
City of Hornell and works in Rochester. The individual is currently being
isolated and monitored by the County Health Department. The other three cases
involve people from Bath, Corning and Hornellsville. Health officials do not
believe the cases are connected. Health officials say they expect the number of
cases in Steuben to increase. Public Health officials and County management
urge residents to stay home and stay safe. Limit contact with others to slow or
stop the spread through the community.
