Andover students to present “The Crimson House Murder”

Andover students rehearse for this weekend’s production of “The Crimson House Murder” in the school auditorium
 15 Andover seniors out of 18 cast members will tread the boards for the last time as high schoolers this Friday and Saturday in “The Crimson House Murder.

The comedic murder mystery reminiscent of the works of Agatha Christie will get underway at 7 p.m. both nights. Costs are $7 at the door or $5 pre-sale. Contact the school for pre-sale tickets. There will also be a bake sale during the show.
Seniors Maggie Helveston and Moses Gertzen have the lead roles. The mystery writer Anguish Crispie is played by senior Alexis Gaylord.
The other seniors in the cast are, Tyler Reynolds, Evan Kent, Cecelia Reitnauer, Shana Harrington, Rhiannon Brown and Graham. Also, in the cast are seventh graders, Nathaniel Eveland and Samantha Pitts; eighth graders, Alexis Cavagna, Willie Grant, Louis Simon and Makaila Brewster; Freshman Will Kent; Juniors Liberty Gaylord, and Katherine Reilly. Also performing are Brynne Hunt and Emily Schweigart.
Directors for the play are Seth Grant, Shelly Grant, Cody Greene, Denise Burrows and Jessica Wieszczyk and the Crew Chief is senior Noah Greene.
“You know that if the actors on stage are having fun that the audience will have fun and this is a fun play,” Grant said.
