Gary Lee Schultz, 76, of Genesee, PA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7, 2020 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.
He was born May 23, 1943, in Galeton, PA. Gary was employed as a mechanic by Kleiser Ford, Pfuntner Chrysler, Simmons-Rockwell, Maple City Dodge, Transit Town Dodge, and retired from Kightlinger Motors.
He was a race car driver for many years beginning in the 1960’s at several local tracks.
Surviving are: five children, Wendy Rosson, of Crimora, VA, Gerrie (Brian) Barrett of Canton, Gary (Connie) Lampman of Westfield, Bonnie (Kurt) Stebbins of Wellsville, NY, and Travis W. Schultz of Genesee; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother and step-father, Lillian F. Schultz Zeaman and Wenzel J. Zeaman; and a grandson, Tyler D. Lampman.
A gathering to celebrate Gary’s life will be announced on a later date. Memorials may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
