SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.----Alice D. Harris Lowe, 76, a longtime
resident of Shinglehouse, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020, in The
Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford, after a long illness.
Born on Monday, May 17, 1943 in Olean, N.Y., she was a
daughter of Babbitt and Lee Anna Sherwood Harris. She married Jack J. Lowe, who passed away on
July 23, 2004.
Alice was a lifelong crafter and enjoyed taking care of the
elderly in her younger years.
Surviving are three sons, William Appleby, Robert Vaughn,
and Daniel Vaughn; a daughter, Eva Lee Anna (Peter) Cady; two grandchildren,
Jackson and Brynn Cady.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was
predeceased by a son, Richard Appleby, Jr.; a granddaughter, Jade Appleby; two
brothers, Walter and Bob; and a sister, Ruth.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services. Private burial services will be held on a
later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.

donor’s choice or to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829,

Alice’s family has entrusted her care to Kevin J. Dusenbury,
