This Tinker Virtual Reality (VR) activity, which will serve
4th – 8th graders, has been created in collaboration with Friendship Central
School’s after-school program. Library director Michelle Hill believes this can
spark student interest in Virtual Reality and all it can offer “from traveling,
team activities, puzzles and brainteasers to travelling around the globe and
seeing many of the world’s natural wonders.”
Friendship is among the first libraries in the area to
feature Virtual Reality. Ms. Hill hopes that as the VR program becomes
established there may be enough interest to warrant teen and adult activities.
With 10 million dollars in assets, ACAF holds and manages a
variety of funds and welcomes gifts, which are tax-deductible. If you’d like to
