11/13/18 11:20am- State police arrested Megan C. Derrick, 27, of Belmont. She was charged with felony counts of 3rd degree welfare fraud and 1st degree filing a false instrument with intent to defraud. She was released on her own recognizance. The incident occurred November 6th in the village of Belmont.
11/13/18 10:32am- State police investigated a personal injury vehicle crash on Waughbrook Road at County Road 10 in Scio. One injury was reported. Troopers listed the driver as Emily E. Levasseur, 19, of Scio.
11/13/18 10:13pm- State police investigated a single vehicle crash with injury on Van Allen Road at County Road 16 in Angelica. One person sustained an injury. The driver was listed as Dominique A. Marble, 20, of Alfred station.
11/13/18 11:46pm- During a traffic stop on State Route 19 in Scio, troopers arrested Simon P. Gogolack, 34, of Wellsville. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, unlawful possession of marijuana, drinking alcohol in a vehicle on a highway and suspended registration.
11/13/18 10:29pm- After investigating a burglary in progress call in Savona on August 15th, state police arrested Chance C. Laviolette, 19, of Lebanon, Oregon. He was charged with felony assault with a weapon, 1st degree unlawful imprisonment and burglary causing injury. He was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use. He was remanded to the Steuben County Jail. Bail was set at $100,000.
11/13/18 11am- State police arrested Anthony J. Kroeger, 59, of Prattsburg. He was charged with felony 1st degree sex offender registry violation.
