On July 8th, 2025, at approximately 9:00PM, Cuba Police arrested Brian E. Phearsdorf, 43, of Cuba, NY. Phearsdorf was arrested on charges of unsafe tire (Violation), inadequate exhaust system (Violation), operating out of ignition interlock restriction (Misdemeanor), driving while ability impaired by alcohol (Misdemeanor), driving while intoxicated (Felony), obstruction of governmental administration 2nd (Misdemeanor), resisting arrest (Misdemeanor), aggravated unlicensed operation 1st (Felony) and assault of a police officer 2nd (Felony). Phearsdorf was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail on $2,000.00 bail. Phearsdorf is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of Law. One Cuba Police officer was treated by Cuba Ambulance and released. According to jail records, the man has been released pending court action.
