Wellsville Police arrested Charles P. McDade, age 34 of Wellsville, charging him with a Violation of the Sex Offender Registry – 2nd Offense (Class D Felony). The charge stems from an investigation into McDade failing to register his home address in April. McDade was located by Wellsville Police and taken into custody. McDade was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (Class A Misdemeanor) and Passed Red Light on a bicycle (Infraction). McDade was processed and transported to the Allegany County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court on the Sex Offender Registry Violation charge. McDade was issued an appearance ticket on the Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Passed Red Light charge and is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 20th at 4:30 pm.
