Last weekend, Junior “Skip” Baker was honored for 70 years of volunteer service and dedication to the Genesee Township Volunteer Fire/EMS Department Station 37! I sponsored a congratulatory citation from the PA House of Representatives to honor Skip for his exemplary service. The citation was presented on my behalf by Suzan Paisley from my Coudersport office.
In addition to Skip, the following volunteers were also honored for their milestone years of service with the company: Ken Collins, 50 years; Ben Johnston, 45 years; Will Manning Sr., 40 years; Sandy Baker, 35 years; Bob Nelson, 35 years; Duane Adams, 20 years; Bethany Dailey, 10 years; Mark Stephens, five years; and JoAnn Stephens, five years.
