Today at approximately 12:38 a.m., Michael P. Scholl, 47, of Little Genesee NY was taken into custody. Scholl was the operator of a vehicle that was subject to a traffic stop on E. State St. in the City of Olean for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. During the investigation Scholl consented to a search of his person where he was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected crack cocaine. Scholl was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office Olean Substation for processing. Scholl was processed and released on an appearance ticket and multiple uniform traffic tickets for the following charges: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, No/Inadequate Muffler, and Operate MV with Broken Glass. Scholl is due in the City of Olean Court at a later date for further proceedings.
