Another Allegany County Fire

There have been a series of structure fires in Allegany County this week...one was deadly. Saturday at 5:28 a.m., Allegany County 911 dispatched Birdsall, Angelica, Canaseraga, Fillmore and Fast Team 1 to a structure fire at 8672 McMahon Road in Birdsall. Arkport was placed on standby. The initial report indicated it was a "working structure fire" and "all occupants were out." According to tax records, the structure is described as a cabin and is owned by two people from Depew. Investigators were called to the scene and the cause and origin are under review.
