Man charged with raping child in Allegany County

Amity-based Troopers last night arrested 19-year-old Zachary D. Winters of Newfane. He was charged with felony second-degree rape involving a child under the age of 15, felony criminal sex act, felony promoting an obscene sexual performance of a child under the age 17 and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned and detained. Troopers said the crime was reported May 19th in the town of Amity.
