Voters approve Friendship School capital improvement project

Voters in the Friendship Central School District on Thursday approved a $2.3 million improvement project. District officials said the votes was 65 yes and 17 no. Officials said prior to the vote that the project would not raise taxes because most of the funding was from the state and the balance was from a district reserve accounts.
