Notice to ACCORD Visitors About Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Effective: Friday,
March 13th, 2020
ACCORD Corporation is closely monitoring the ongoing Coronavirus
Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. As the situation continues to change rapidly,
our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our community.
ACCORD Corporation facilities remain open and operational with appropriate
measures to protect the health of the community.
Using an abundance of caution, all ACCORD Corporation facilities
are implementing screening measures for signs of respiratory illness and
exposure to COVID-19. This protocol will be in place until further notice. To
be clear, we have not encountered anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
This is just a precautionary measure. Onsite, we will use the below
standardized screening questions at strategic entry points and during initial
contact.
ü Have you had contact with any person with known COVID-19 or a
person under investigation for COVID-19?
ü Do you have any symptoms of a respiratory infection (e.g., cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath)?
ü Are you or anyone in your home in active quarantine status?
Important! Please do not come to any ACCORD facilities for programs or services if you answered yes to ANY of the above questions. Please call us at 585-268-7605 to discuss your program and service needs.
Be well and stay healthy. Thank you for your understanding during this time.

We have also implemented additional health and safety
precautions to maintain the cleanliness of our shared spaces, including
increasing our sanitation efforts in all high-traffic areas. We have
posted handwashing reminders in all restrooms and ordered additional
sanitizer dispensers.
We encourage everyone to refer to CDC
recommendations about best practices. This
includes washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds,
covering your cough with your elbow or sleeve, avoiding touching your nose,
mouth, and eyes, and staying home if you are ill.
We will continue to make informed decisions following best
practices implemented by health, public safety, educational, and cultural
institutions and provide
timely updates through channels, including our website and
social media platforms.
Be well and stay healthy. Thank you for your understanding during this time.
