A building fire in the Town of Hume Tuesday night brought in
help from several Allegany County departments as well as from Cattaraugus, Wyoming
and Livingston counties. The blaze was reported at 8:30 p.m. at 10470 County Road
23. When firefighters arrived, they said horses were be rushed to safety and that the building was fully involved in fire.
The cause of the destructive blaze is under investigation. Firefighters
remained at the scene for several hours.
