Nancy J. Francis, 82, of Andrews Settlement, PA, died
Friday, May 15, 2020 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport, PA. Born November 9, 1937, in Wellsville, NY, she
was the daughter of Charles W. and Mary Lewis Haskell. On October 20, 1957, in Andrews Settlement,
she married Dale C. Francis, who survives.
Nancy was a graduate of Genesee High School and the first graduating
class of Northern Potter. She attended
Andrews Settlement Baptist Church. She
was a foster mother to 14 children while living in California early in her
marriage. Surviving besides her husband,
Dale, are: a daughter, Joy (Rick)
Currier of Andrews Settlement; a son, Martin Francis of Coudersport; and three
grandchildren, Mollie Currier, Jacob Francis, and Jenevieve Francis. She was predeceased by two grandsons, Stephen
R. Currier and Nathan L. Currier; and a sister, Dawn B. Haskell.
The immediate family will hold a private funeral at the
Andrews Settlement Baptist Church. The
Rev. Dale Post will officiate. Burial
will be in Andrews Settlement Cemetery.
