The Alfred University Chamber Singers, under the direction of Luanne Crosby, Professor of Voice/Chorus, will present an evening of songs from Hollywood 1940-present, in Howell Hall beginning at 7p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15.
Come and enjoy savory appetizers and scrumptious desserts while listening to solos, duets and choral arrangements of everything from Frank Sinatra to the golden years of Musical Theater.
The event is a fund-raiser to support the Union University Church where many of the University's choral concerts have been presented in its beautiful acoustic space. It's the Chamber Singers' way of giving back to the community.
Reservations by contacting Michele Hluchy hluchy@alfred.edu or Luanne Crosby at fclarke@alfred.edu.
Free will donations accepted at the event.
Come and enjoy a full evening of continuous music, great food and support for our community .
