Judge orders probation for Wellsville man in drug case

A Wellsville man who pleaded guilty in Allegany County court to 4th degree criminal sale of a controlled substance will spend five years on probation. Judge Terry Parker handed down that sentence Thursday to Brandon J. Murray, 25. The crime occurred on O'Conner Street in Wellsville when he sold Suboxone to an agent of the Wellsville Police Department. In addition to probation, Murray must pay a $325 court surcharge and a $50 DNA fee.
