Friendship man charged with kidnapping, strangulation and other serious charges
Amity-based State Police arrested 29-year-old Nathaniel L. Andreano of Friendship. He was taken into custody Friday at 5 Sawyer lane. He was charged with five felony counts to include:
- Second-degree strangulation
- Second-degree kidnapping
- Criminal mischief
- Two counts of criminal possession of a weapon by a felon.
Troopers also charged him with misdemeanor counts of assault and menacing with a weapon. His arrest followed an incident in the Village of Cuba at 3:29 a.m. Friday.
Arraigned in court, Andreano was remanded to the Allegany County Jail. The judge set bail at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
