NY was taken into custody. Kessler was originally located by New York State
Police Amity and was found to have an active warrant out of the Cattaraugus
County Sheriffs Office. Kessler was turned over to the Cattaraugus County
Sheriffs Office at 55 S. Main St in Portville. Kessler was processed and then
transported to the Town of Portville Court for an arraignment. Kessler was
arraigned and released on his own recognizance and is to return in the Town of
Portville Court at a later date for further proceedings.

February 8th, 2025, at approximately 0110 hours, Tonya R. Hadsell, 32, of
Friendship NY, was taken into custody. Hadsell was the passenger of a vehicle
subject to a traffic stop on Portville Eldred Rd. Hadsell provided a false name
by providing her sisters name and her date of birth. However, it was discovered
that she provided the incorrect date of birth. Following further investigation
Hadsell's name was discovered and it was also discovered that she had an active
felony warrant out of the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office and a warrant out
of Genesee County Sheriffs Office. Hadsell was transported to the Cattaraugus
County Sheriffs Office for processing. Hadsell was then transported to the
Cattaraugus County Jail where she was held pending further court proceedings.

Special Circumstances: On February 6th, 2025, at approximately 0349 hours, Tyler A. Shawley, 24, of Friendship NY, was taken into custody. Shawley originally called in a complaint to Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch because he went off of the road and into a ditch on I-86 in the Town of Redhouse. Deputies arrived on scene and following further investigation it was determined that Shawley was Driving While Intoxicated. Shawley was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Shawley provided a chemical breath test sample on the Datamaster that was almost two time the legal limit of 0.08% BAC. Shawley was released on an appearance ticket and multiple uniform traffic tickets for the following charges: Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated Per Se, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, Move from Lane Unsafely. Shawley is due in the Town of Redhouse Court at a later date for further proceedings.
