Wellsville Police Blotter - UPDATED

Wellsville Police arrested Bryent A.K. Scotchmer, age 30 of Scio, charging him with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor).  The charge stems from an incident that took place on Stevens Street on March 30th.  Scotchmer was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson.  Scotchmer was released on pre-trail supervision by the Allegany County Probation Department.  Scotchmer is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 21st at 4:30 pm. 

Wellsville Police, acting on an Indictment Warrant issued by the Allegany County Court, arrested Melissa A. Farley, age 41 of Wellsville, charging her with 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th (Class D Felony) and 3 counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th (Class D Felony).  The charges stem from investigations into the sale of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine) in October and December of 2023.  Farley was processed and committed to the Allegany County Jail without bail.  Farley is due to be arraigned in Allegany County Court at a later date. 

Wellsville Police arrested Kevin J. Tyler, age 52 No permanent address, charging him with Disorderly Conduct (Violation).  The charges stems from an incident that took place on the Genesee Parkway.  Tyler was issued an appearance ticket and released.  Tyler is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 7th at 4:30 pm. 

Wellsville Police arrested Eric M. Harrison, age 35 of Andover, charging him with a Violation of Probation.  Harrison was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson.  Harrison was committed to the Allegany County Jail without bail.  Harrison is due back in Wellsville Village Court on June 4th at 4:30 pm.
