LOOKING TO GET INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY?

Looking to get involved in your community?  Are you interested in the medical field?  Do you want to become a skilled member of our team?

The Angelica Rescue Squad is in urgent need of volunteers!  Our emergency response team includes more than just EMTs.  We need ambulance drivers and support members as well to make this organization successful.  We have a monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. on the last Tuesday of every month.  Feel free to stop in!

If you are 17 years of age and are interested in emergency medicine, the next EMT course in our area is expected to start in January.  The EMT training and books are covered for all members.

The class is two nights a week and approximately every other Saturday morning for a duration of (5) months or roughly one college semester.  It may even be possible to gain college credit for the EMT course.  Houghton college students receive course credit for the class, and possibly other colleges will as well.

Being part of the Angelica Rescue Squad is a very rewarding way to serve your community. It will also give you peace of mind that you are prepared to assist your community in times of need.  If you are interested in learning more about joining our team, please contact Wendy Blimline at 585-307-7128.
