In a ruling dated October 30th, a federal judge has sided with the Town of Alma in Brian Trask v. Town of Alma. Cutting to the chase...the case has been dismissed against the Town in its entirety. It is a 29-page decision, and sorry, I'm not posting the entire thing. I'm sure it will pop up on the internet. I will share the beginning and end (bottom line is, it is a victory for the Town of Alma):
