Potter County: Jury ordered in Scott Luce case - faces 128 counts involving $93,000 theft from Fire/Ems

All indications are that the criminal case against 36-year-old Scott Luce of Genesee, PA is headed to trial in Potter County. According to the online docket, Judge Stephen Minor issued a scheduling order for jury selection on September 3rd. This is a case that dates back to 2017. Luce is the former treasurer of the Genesee, PA Fire Department. He was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police and charged with 128 felony and misdemeanor counts for allegedly stealing more than $93,000 for the volunteer agency. Luce was previously convicted of stealing funds from the Independence Emergency Squad. In that case he was ordered to make restitution.
