An Eldred woman is facing felony and other counts following
her arrest Tuesday by Pennsylvania Troopers. State police charged 54-year-old
Robin Mazurkiewicz with felony counts of theft by failure to make required
disposition funds and theft by unlawful taking. Other charges include tampering
with public records. The crimes allegedly occurred four years ago when Mazurkiwicz was the borough secretary. She alleged siphoned more than $25,000 in utility payments. During her court arraignment, bail was set at
$50,000 unsecured. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 30th.
