Obituary: Frank J. Gorney, Jr., 71, Olean

Frank J. Gorney, Jr., 71, of 132 North Union Street, Olean, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at Cuba Memorial Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit. Born on August 19, 1947, in Olean, he was a son of Frank J. and Edna Mae Adsit Gorney Sr.  Frank worked in the restaurant business most of his life in both the Scranton PA are and Olean New York area. He is survived by a special aunt, Lillian Armstrong of Olean; cousins, Marie (John Sr.) Slater of Black Creek, Becky (Lee) Kenyon            of Franklinville and Sylvia Theis of Olean. At his request there will be no services.  Private Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family.Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean, New York. Arrangements are under direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., Cuba.
