Obituary: Howard E. Lamphier, 85, Wellsville

WELLSVILLE - Howard E. Lamphier, 85, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born in Wellsville, the son of the late Elmer and Eva (Chandler) Lamphier. He is survived by his wife, Janet Lamphier, a daughter, Marcia Lamphier (Marshall Hammond), a sister Freida Ballerstein, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in addition to his parents by a son, Gene Lamphier. At Howard's request, a private celebration of his life is being planned for a later date.
