New York State Police Blotter – July 18, 2025
7/18/25 10:34 a.m.- Acting on a reckless endangerment
complaint in the town of Wellsville, state police arrested Jacquline A. Sweet,
58, of Wellsville. She was charged with felony first-degree criminal contempt
for violating an order of protection, felony first-degree endangering the
welfare of a physically disabled person and second-degree reckless
endangerment. She was transported to the Allegany County Jail to await Central
arraignment.
7/18/25 11:16 p.m.- After investigating a
neighborhood disturbance complaint in the town of Almond, state police arrested
Josiah D. Gardner, 36, Alfred Station. Josiah was charged with criminal
obstruction of breathing, three counts of child endangerment and third-degree
assault with intent to cause physical injury. Gardner was transported to the
Allegany County Jail for Central arraignment.
7/18/25 2:09 p.m.- State police based in Bath
arrested Kyle Marshall, 23, of Prattsburgh. He was charged with 43 felony counts
of promoting a sexual performance by a child under the age of 17 and 43 additional
felony counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was issued an
appearance ticket for court. Troopers said the crime was reported May 29, 2023
in the town of Pultney.
7/18/25 11:28 a.m.- Acting on a criminal warrant, Hornell-based
state police arrested Tyler M. Houghtaling, 35, of Jasper. He was charged with
third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was taken
to the Steuben County Jail for Central arraignment.
