BELMONT, NEW YORK (July 19, 2025) -- Cornell Cooperative Extension is excited to announce:

 

Succulent Workshop & Swap: Learn, Create, and Take Home!

Love succulents but not sure how to keep them happy?

Join us for a hands-on, in-person succulent workshop where you'll learn everything you need to know to care for these fun, low-maintenance plants. Plus: leave with your own living creation!

What to expect? 

• Succulent care 101: watering, sunlight, soil, and propagation
• DIY your own mini succulent garden to take home
• Succulent swap table: bring extra cuttings or plants to trade with others!

Presented by Cristian Acosta, Agriculture Educator, Cornell Cooperative Extension Allegany County & Master Gardener Volunteers.

Fee: $10 (Soil, containers, and succulents provided; just bring your curiosity!)
