Bath, NY – Steuben County Department of Public Works Commissioner Eric Rose has announced a temporary road closure on County Route 12 (Savona-Thurston Road) in the Town of Thurston.
The road will be closed to all traffic from Star Road to Dee Road beginning Monday, July 7th through Wednesday, July 9th, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day. This closure is necessary to allow DPW crews to safely replace a deteriorating culvert pipe beneath the roadway. There will not be an on-site detour, and motorists are urged to plan ahead and use alternate routes during this time.
Commissioner Rose thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation as the County works to maintain and improve essential infrastructure.
