VanDyke has been arraigned on an indictment which includes several charges,
including the top charge of Assault 2nd.
It is alleged that, following a traffic stop, VanDyke assaulted a police
officer causing multiple injuries by repeatedly biting the officer while
resisting arrest. VanDyke has been
remanded to the Allegany County Jail without bail on a separate Violation of
Probation matter.
