Introducing our newest K9 Unit Duo! Deputy McGee and K9 Nash. K9 Nash was purchased with funds channeled through the Sheriff's Foundation from multiple donations from the York Animal Hospital. The York Animal Hospital holds an annual "Woofstock" event in which the proceeds of the event go towards our K9 unit. K9 Nash was purchased on December of 2024 and partnered with Deputy McGee. The team attended basic K9 school in late January and obtained NYS DCJS certification in Patrol and Tracking 02/21/25. Deputy McGee and K9 Nash are currently assigned to day patrol shift. Congratulations to them. Special thank you to the Sheriff's Foundation and York Animal Hospital for their donations.The site serves portions of New York and Pennsylvania.
