Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on December 25, 2024, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robin A. Clark, age 35, of Armstrong Road, Pulteney, New York, following an investigation of a reported trespass in the Town of Prattsburgh. It is alleged that Ms. Clark was at a residence that she was ordered to stay away from by a valid order of protection. It is further alleged that Ms. Clark, after being arrested, brought prohibited suspected fentanyl into the Steuben County Jail. After being thoroughly searched in person, Officers operating the newly installed live body scanner of the jail, identified possible contraband on Ms. Clark’s person which was then found to contain alleged fentanyl. Ms. Clark was charged with Introducing Prison Contraband in the First Degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. Ms. Clark was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and held in lieu of $500 cash bail.
Strangulation, Assault and Criminal Mischief Arrest
Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on December 28, 2024, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Richard W. Wilson, age 29, of Smith Hill Road, Woodhull, New York, following an investigation of a reported domestic incident in the Town of Woodhull. It is alleged that Mr. Wilson strangled another person, injured that person and then attempted to prevent that person from calling 911. Mr. Wilson was charged with Strangulation in the Second Degree, a class D Felony, Assault in the Third Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. Mr. Wilson was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.

Menacing and Possession of a Weapon Arrest
Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on December 30, 2024, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert J. Porter, age 32, of Rand Street, Painted Post, New York, following an investigation of a reported domestic incident in the Village of Painted Post. It is alleged that Mr. Porter threatened another person with a knife and was previously convicted of committing a designated family offense. Mr. Porter was charged with Aggravated Family Offense, a class E Felony and Menacing in the Second Degree. Mr. Porter was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released on $250 cash bail.
