Wellsville Central School has 91% graduation rate over the last 4 years
During the 2022-23 school year, the Wellsville Central School District had 1,078 students enrolled in K-12. The State Education Department also reports the four-year graduation rate is 89% and the cost per student is $21,803.
The new report shows that the Secondary school (old folks like me called it the high/middle school) had a graduation rate of 91% with a total number of students at 647. Meanwhile, for 2022-23, their were a total of 431 students in the Elementary facility.
During the past few years, the school student populations has been consistent.
The State Education Department announced the release of the 2023-24 New York State Report Card annual assessment results on our public data site. This data includes annual student results on standardized New York State assessments: Grades 3-8 English Language Arts, Grades 3-8 Mathematics, Grades 5 & 8 Science, Annual Regents Examinations, total Cohort Regents Examinations, New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT), New York State Alternate Assessments (NYSAA) and the most recent results on the National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) administered by the National Center for Educational Statistics.
